What are Upanishads?

The Upanishads are ancient texts that share deep conversations about life, the soul, and the truth behind everything.

These profound philosophical dialogues that explore the nature of reality, the self (Atman), and the ultimate truth (Brahman).

There are 108 Upanishads in Sanatana Dharma, but 10 are considered especially important, not because the others are less valuable, but because Adi Shankaracharya chose these ten to write detailed commentaries on.
